Science Night, which is organized by a committee of parents, is a highlight of our school year. It is typically held on a Thursday evening in late January in our multi-purpose room. This is a noncompetitive event in which students research an area of science that interests them and create an exhibit of their findings. Students are encouraged to be available for a portion of the evening to explain their display to interested viewers.
The Science Night committee publicizes the on-line registration for this event. Because of the popularity and limited space in our multi-purpose room and hallways, the committee adheres to the publicized registration deadline.
All kindergarten through fifth grade students are invited to either create a science project or be an audience for their fellow students. The enthusiasm for science learning is incredible among our students, especially at Science Night.
