Room Parents are on the front lines of communication at Tam Valley School and are vital to the school’s success.
As liaisons between classroom families and teachers/staff, Room Parents ensure the ongoing success of programs such as traffic control, lice checks, staff/teacher recognition, and PTA events by coordinating parent volunteers.
Tam Valley teachers rely on the support of Room Parents when planning classroom celebrations or other classroom activities. Room parents generally work in pairs and will be provided with all forms needed, attend a few short meetings during the school year, and have the assistance of the Room Parent Coordinator.
